Most free-tool sites make you sit through pop-ups, cookie walls and a mandatory signup before you reach the one thing you came for. JiffyGadgets exists to skip all of that.
The idea is simple: you arrive already knowing what you need — a word count, a strong password, a QR code, a formatted blob of JSON — and you should get it in about a second, with no signup, no account and nothing to remember. Paste, click, done. Then you leave.
That thinking runs through the whole design, down to the channel numbers on the board: get people to what they need as fast as possible, then get out of the way.

Everything runs client-side, inside your own browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, logged or stored on a server: the text you paste into the counter, the passwords you generate and the values you convert all stay on your device, and refreshing the page clears them. There is no database here because there is nothing to keep.
JiffyGadgets is funded by display advertising, which covers the domain and hosting. Ads are deliberately kept out of the way of the tools: fixed spaces reserved in the layout so nothing jumps around as the page loads, a cap on how many appear on a small screen, and a dismissible bar rather than anything that blocks what you are doing. If an ad ever covers a tool or shifts the page under your finger, that is a bug — please report it. The privacy policy explains what advertising cookies do and how to opt out.
JiffyGadgets is a one-person project, built and maintained by an independent developer. If something is broken, slow, or missing a tool you wish existed, the contact page reaches a real person.
